Al-Tabaqat al-Kubra | Tabaqat Ibn Sa'd | Dar al-Khanji (et-Tabakâtü'l-Kübrâ | Tabakâtü İbn Sa'd | Dâru'l-Hâncî)

An insightful historical work exploring the Prophet's biography (Seerah), Islamic history, and classic biographies.
(One of the earliest and most reliable works of biography and Seerah, by Muhammad ibn Sa'd al-Zuhri (d. 230 AH), secretary of al-Waqidi. It opens with a detailed biography of the Prophet ﷺ, then presents the Companions in generations according to precedence in Islam and battles, followed by the Successors and later figures across the regions, with dedicated sections on female Companions and Successors. It is distinguished by its chains and original reports.

An indispensable source for research in Seerah, history, biography and narrator criticism.)
